FAQ
-
The license Plate Reading Cameras operate at 90FPS to ensure that they capture a clear picture when the vehicles are moving at high speeds. They do make 4K (8MP) versions, but they don’t run at the high frame rate and are cost prohibitive for most applications.
-
The thermal has two cameras because the thermal image sensor is only meant to assist the AI with person detection in areas with poor lighting or visibility. The visible camera is used to identify the individual.
-
A 180° camera is meant to see everything within a 180° field of view. It has 2 lenses because it reduces distortion and provides better image quality along the edges. A single lens 180° uses a fisheye lens that distorts the image and reduces quality along the edges.
